What happens after the thing you’ve been praying for starts becoming real? On Day 54 of making CHOSEN, we’re officially greenlit with more than $12,000 raised. Now come the audition tapes, production meetings, endless details, and the reality of making a film while still working, writing, running businesses, and living a whole life. Somewhere in the overwhelm, I keep reminding myself: this is what I prayed for.

Writers spend an extraordinary amount of time inhabiting places that don't exist. Before a reader encounters a setting on the page, we've already walked through it hundreds of times. Walking into the house where we'll film Chosen, I realized I wasn't discovering a location. I was finally meeting a place I'd been carrying in my imagination for months.
